Cindy Self - Dreams in a Stream

The album Dreams in a Stream was written and performed by Cindy Self. Cindy sings and plays the acoustic 6 string and 12 string guitar on the album. Keyboard arrangements are by Ann Aakre. Cindy Self: "I was born the second child and the first daughter of seven children in a small logging town in Washington. My father was a rambling soul, and the first fourteen years of my life, we moved up and down the coast of California, Oregon, and Washington. We always lived very near the ocean, but we finally settled in the San Joaquin Valley of Central California. I grew up listening to a lot of ballad singers, like Johnny Horton and Marty Robins. There was always music playing in my house, all types of music from country to rock to blues and big band."

Recorded on a Tascam 246 cassette 4-track and JVC Stereo Hi-Fi VCR
with Shure SM-81 and SM-57 mics.
Mastered to a Tascam DA-30 DAT (Digital Audio Tape).
