and cultural weekend continues its fourth year at the Benini
ranch, located off Flat Creek Road near Johnson City, when speakers
from around the country share their expertise and passion for
creative and informative topics. ARTS Encounters began when visitors
to the fine arts project were curious about the sculptors whose
work is featured on the hillsides. As more people became involved,
the topics extended to additional fields, including the performing
arts, medicine and healing, dance, gardening, and more. Presentations
are both days, beginning promptly at 1:30 pm. Free of charge.
Everyone welcome. Following ARTS Encounters, visit the Black
Spur Emporium and Gallery, the Watson
Studio Gallery, and the Kirchman
Gallery - all on Nugent Street in Johnson City, for their
openings and featured artists. Johnson
