The Florida Keys and especially Key West have a very rich and long history of culture and the arts. There are many creative artists based in the Keys, as well as arts organizations, arts events, and galleries to view and purchase fine art work in many media. We also include theater and dance performers and organizations in the arts too. Playwright Tennessee Williams, novelist Ernest Hemingway, and poet Robert Frost have all spent time in the Keys. Premier
theatrical troupe presenting live theater is a non-profit organization,
established in 1978, to perform plays and shows written by established
playwrights for the visitors and residents in the Upper Florida Keys.
Our shows include musicals, comedy, and dramatic plays that
have
been performed on Broadway, Off Broadway, and in regional theaters
around the world. We perform at various venues, including
dinner
theater settings, around the Upper Florida Keys.

We are a non-profit group dedicated to bringing quality entertainment to our island community located in the heart of the Florida Keys. We operate both a live theater and cinema concurrently. Located in Marathon. 2/10 Performing Arts Centers for Key West / Tennessee Williams Theatre - The PACKW was organized in 2002 to save the Tennessee Williams Theatre from permanent closure. The Theatre complex offers three different performance spaces and is the home to the Key West Pops, Florida Keys Chorale, and the Key West Symphony Orchestra. The auditorium has a proscenium stage and seats 480 audience members, the grand foyer offers a flexible seating plan for up to 250 audience members, the outdoor performance space boasts a beautiful water view which can accommodate up to 2,500 audience members, and they are available for group events. Located in Key West. 2/10 The Red Barn Theatre - Enjoy great live theatre. We're 30 years old and still making trouble. Bar opens 1/2 hour before each show and remains open through intermission.
