Trimordial Video Production Pricing

1. Location MiniDV Video Recording:

Including audio / video engineer (me), Sony TRV900 3-CCD (3-chip - 380,000 pixels each chip) (720x480 SD in 4:3 normal or 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio) MiniDV digital camcorder, using image stabilization or on a tripod, with camera-mounted stereo or mono shotgun microphone.  I can use battery power, but 120v power is needed for a long production.

Or I can do time-lapse video recording with my MacBook Pro.

External microphones available include: single wired lavaliere or 1 or 2 wired hand held or stand mounted mic(s).  Audio monitoring is with headphones.  Up to 1 hour per MiniDV digital tape.  No charge for set up and tear down time.  1 digital video camera:

$50 per day plus $50 per hour production time.  Plus $10 per each 1 hour MiniDV digital tape.

1.a. Location Flip UltraHD compressed HD (1280 x 720 MP4) Recording:

For casual NON-professional shooting with built-in stereo mic and up to 2 hours recording time is:

$50 per day plus $25 per hour production time.

2. Location MiniDV SD Video Recording with Audio Production:

Including audio / video engineer (me), Sony TRV900 3-CCD (380,000 pixels each chip) (720x480 SD) MiniDV digital camcorder, using image stabilization or on a tripod.  120v power is required for the audio mixing system.  Mics available include Shure: SM58, SM57 (2), wired lavaliere, and several other mics; and boom mic stands (3).  Audio monitoring with headphones.  Up to 1 hour per MiniDV digital tape.  No charge for set up and tear down time.  1 digital video camera:

$75 per day plus $75 per hour production time.  Plus $10 per each 1 hour MiniDV digital tape.


All Location Video Add-ons:

Las Vegas Strip, downtown Las Vegas, or Las Vegas Convention Center locations: add $25 per day.

Mileage charge round trip is 50¢ per mile.  There is also an extra charge of $100 per day for a job that is over 100 miles away from Las Vegas, Nevada.  On-call time charge is $15 per hour.  $100 or more deposit may be required.  1/2 hour or more may be required for set up, 1/2 hour or more may be required for tear down.

A deposite of $100 is required for location work.

Trimordial Studio Pre- or Post-Production / Editing:

Including audio / video engineer (me) on Apple Macintosh, output to MiniDV, DVD, CD, or QuickTime files.

$25 per hour production time.  $10 per each 1 hour MiniDV digital tape, $5 per CD or $10 per DVD with paper sleeve.

Video Reproduction:

Small quantity (1 ~ 20) duplication (burning) for studio customers.

CD $5 each or DVD $10 in a paper sleeve.  Add $1 each for slimline jewel case, and $2 each for standard jewel case.  Add $2 each disc for disc label, and $4 each case for front and back jewel case inserts.  $25 per hour studio time for any file preparation, handling, and setup.  See the Graphics section of our pricing page for information about design and printing disc labels and inserts.  I recommend Disc Makers 1-800-468-9353, Oasis 1-866-409-8170, or Odds On 1-877-633-7661 in Las Vegas, for high quantity duplication, tell them that Trimordial Studio sent you.

Video Format Transfer: From MiniDV to DVD or QuickTime files.  From VHS tape to DVD or DVD to VHS tape.

$25 per hour production time, with additional charge for material costs.  (This can take 4 times or more than the original video length.)
